Greenport 2003 - New trends in aviation environmental management |
| Date:
05-07/05/2003 |
Location:
Berlin, Germany |
| Description:
Aviation and the environment give rise to emotional discussions. The core issues are rarely treated in a dispassionate manner. Nevertheless, they cannot be neglected. For the air transport industry, the challenges are to maintain and develop a safe and secure global transport network, whilst minimising its impact on the environment. Greenport 2003, organised by Airports Council International (ACI) in association with IATA and hosted by Berlin International Airports, will address these issues and review new trends in environmental management. The emphasis will be on practicality, not philosophy.
For suppliers of services and products, the exhibition associated with Greenport is an excellent showcase that will be visited by a global group of airport executives, all of whom have hands-on responsibility for environmental management programmes. |
