ATAG is organising two side events during the UNFCCC COP 30 meeting in Belém, Brazil, in November 2025. Both events will be held in the Blue Zone of the COP 30 venue (for accredited delegates who are part of a delegation or who have observer status).
This side event will focus on rapid growth in the production of sustainable aviation fuel, exploring Latin America's role and potential to scale SAF for a global industry and to unlock new value chains, supporting the region's positioning as a leader in the decarbonisation of global aviation.
This side event is being organised by ATAG, the Sustainable Aviation Buyers Alliance (SABA) and the Pan-American Liquid Biofuels Coalition (CPBIO). It will focus on aviation's progress towards net zero, bringing together key initiatives to showcase results and solutions in investment and technology; highlight opportunities for developing nations and demonstrate implementation at scale across the sector.
Note that capacity restrictions may apply at both events and access will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
